These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the ZPL Viewr website at zplviewr.com, including the online viewer and other features, information, and resources made available through the website.

By choosing to access or use the website, you are subject to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. These terms do not suggest that every visitor has signed a separate written agreement merely by opening a public page.

If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue your use of ZPL Viewr. Additional terms may apply to features or services introduced in the future.

ZPL Viewr provides a browser-based interface designed to produce visual previews from supported Zebra Programming Language (ZPL) instructions. Typical uses may include:

• Viewing supported ZPL label layouts.
• Inspecting text positioning and label composition.
• Reviewing supported barcode placement.
• Checking shipping-label structures.
• Inspecting product and inventory label designs.

Available functionality depends on the current implementation and the capabilities of the rendering engine. ZPL Viewr does not guarantee support for every ZPL command, printer feature, font, graphic, or device-specific instruction.

Unless an official relationship is expressly identified on the website, ZPL Viewr is an independent online tool and is not presented as endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially affiliated with Zebra Technologies or any printer manufacturer.

Visitors are responsible for using ZPL Viewr in accordance with laws and regulations that apply to them, their content, and their intended use of label output. These terms do not establish an arbitrary minimum age requirement.

The publicly available viewer does not require an account unless the website expressly states otherwise. Features introduced later may have additional access, eligibility, authentication, or contractual requirements that will be disclosed when applicable.

You must use the website responsibly and must not use, attempt to use, or assist others in using ZPL Viewr to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.
• Submit malicious software, harmful instructions, or destructive content.
• Access systems, data, accounts, or restricted areas without authorization.
• Interfere with the website’s availability, integrity, or normal operation.

The viewer may allow you to enter ZPL printer instructions and related label information. Depending on what you submit, that content could contain recipient names, addresses, product identifiers, barcode values, tracking information, inventory data, or business-sensitive information.

User responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, authority, permissions, and lawful basis necessary to submit and process your content. Avoid entering personal, confidential, regulated, or commercially sensitive information unless it is necessary and appropriate for your use.

Ownership and limited processing

Entering code into the viewer does not, by itself, transfer ownership of that code to ZPL Viewr. To the extent processing is required, permission to process submitted content is limited to what is reasonably necessary to provide the requested function, subject to the website’s actual technical and data-processing arrangements.

Data handling

Storage, transmission, retention, and third-party processing practices are addressed in the applicable Privacy Policy . These terms do not represent that submitted code is never stored, never transmitted, or automatically deleted. Review the Privacy Policy before submitting sensitive label data.

A ZPL preview is a visual interpretation of supported printer instructions. It is intended to assist inspection and development, but it is not a guarantee of the exact output that a particular printer will produce.

Actual printed results may differ because of factors including:

• Printer model and firmware.
• Print density and DPI.
• Label dimensions and media.
• Printer configuration.
• Font and graphic availability.
• Barcode rendering behavior.
• Supported ZPL commands.
• Hardware and printhead conditions.
• Rendering-engine differences.
• Browser or device compatibility.

You should verify final output using the intended printer, configuration, and label material before production or operational use. ZPL Viewr does not promise pixel-perfect output, universal printer compatibility, error-free barcode scanning, guaranteed print quality, or compliance with carrier or industry specifications.

The website’s original design, written content, branding, graphics, and proprietary software elements may be protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except where permitted by law or an applicable license, protected website materials should not be copied, republished, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate authorization.

Third-party technologies, trademarks, code, and open-source components remain subject to their respective ownership and licenses. Zebra and related product names may be trademarks of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply an official partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.

ZPL Viewr may rely on external providers for functions such as ZPL rendering, hosting, security, infrastructure, contact-form delivery, and other technical services. The identity and role of a provider should be confirmed through the website’s current disclosures before relying on provider-specific assumptions.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience or reference. Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms, privacy notices, security practices, and availability conditions. ZPL Viewr does not guarantee that external services will always be available, accurate, suitable, or secure.

The website may experience maintenance, updates, technical problems, security work, or temporary interruptions. No guaranteed uptime or service-level commitment is created by these terms.

Features and technical functionality may evolve, and ZPL Viewr may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any binding commitments. If paid services are introduced, existing contractual rights and applicable commercial terms must be respected.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ZPL Viewr may be provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The service may experience interruptions, rendering errors, incomplete command support, preview inaccuracies, third-party failures, or compatibility limitations involving particular browsers, devices, printers, or user-provided code.

The viewer is not a substitute for testing printed labels with the intended hardware, settings, and media. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ZPL Viewr and those involved in operating the service will not be responsible for losses that are indirect, consequential, or not reasonably foreseeable and that arise from reliance on a preview, an incorrect printed label, business interruption, data loss, third-party failure, or inability to access the website.

This section does not establish an arbitrary financial cap and does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability that applicable law reserves for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights where relevant.

The scope and enforceability of this limitation depend on the website operator’s jurisdiction and business model and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before publication.

To the extent a valid and proportionate indemnification obligation is permitted by applicable law, a user may be responsible for substantiated third-party claims arising directly from that user’s unlawful use of the service, infringement of another person’s rights, or material violation of these terms.

This provision is intended to be narrowly applied and does not impose responsibility for matters caused by ZPL Viewr or for obligations that cannot lawfully be imposed. Its final scope and enforceability require review against the operator’s confirmed legal entity, jurisdiction, users, and service arrangements.

Information processing associated with the website is described in the Privacy Policy. Review that policy before entering personal, confidential, regulated, or business-sensitive data in a label.

ZPL Viewr may restrict access where reasonably necessary to respond to security threats, abusive activity, unlawful conduct, material violations of these terms, or risks to the website and its users.

Because the public viewer may not use individual accounts, this provision does not imply an account-suspension or appeal system that has not been implemented. Any restriction or enforcement action remains subject to applicable law.

These Terms of Use may be updated to reflect changes in website functionality, available services, technical operations, legal requirements, or business practices. The date shown at the beginning of this page identifies the currently displayed version.

Continued availability of a public page does not promise individualized email notices. If a future change materially affects paid contractual rights, the applicable agreement and legal notification requirements will control.

Until a valid governing-law provision is confirmed, disputes should be addressed in accordance with applicable law and any mandatory rights available to the relevant parties. Nothing in these terms is intended to waive consumer protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
